Been feeling a little deep lately.
This is a really sad one, but it's about losing yourself. What happens next, no one can tell, either we pick ourselves up or continue drowning into a pool of depression. A sliver of light at the end of the tunnel or a sea of black water, where eternal darkness lies?

I wake up
Like I do everyday
Only to wish I didn’t.
Feeling numb
As I stare into space
Drifting into nothingness
I put my hand to my chest
Right here, it’s empty,
Where did it go?
Into the mirror I stare,
Right there, it’s empty,
Where is my soul?
I still breathe,
I still live,
I still eat,
I still smile,
I still joke around,
While I drown,
In the midst of all that,
I lost myself.
